Project Gunrock is designed to address the following needs for the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences and affiliates:

Robust next-generation computing infrastructure (single sign-on, integration with cloud services)

Pervasive Unified Communications (email, calendaring, fax, IM, VOIP telephony, web and video-conferencing)

Cyber-Security (vlan firewalls, 802.1x, network access protection, DNSSEC, DKIM)
Project Gunrock will use economies of scale and provide best-practices approaches to a wide variety of Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and mobile clients to access resources in a safe and efficient manner.
